Election Results!

Dear WVMTA Members,

As you know, we recently held our first West Virginia Music Therapy Association election. We had one candidate for each opening, so the results are not exactly surprising, but I'm happy to report that we had a high level of participation.

During the election period (from April 11 - April 25, 2026), 11 of 14 members voted (since that time, we've added one more member). Each candidate received 100% of the votes cast, with no abstensions. Results are as follows:

General Secretary: Karla Hosclaw, MT-BC

Communications Secretary: Emily Lehr, MT-BC

Student Representative: Gabriel Flanagan, Music Therapy Student at WVU

Congratulations to our returning board member and our two new members -- including our first student representative!
